Our organization is on the lookout for a Family Medicine Program Director to spearhead our newly formed rural residency team in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin!

We are currently in search of a Family Medicine Program Director to oversee our family medicine residency initiative and collaborate with our outstanding team of physicians across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin!

Our organization is a multi-state, integrated healthcare system that includes seven hospitals, featuring a cutting-edge ACS designated Level I Adult Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. With over 800 employed physicians and 200 advanced practice providers, we operate more than 100 outpatient clinics and service sites, delivering care to residents in over 55 communities throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. We offer more than 125 specialty and sub-specialty services, including adult critical care, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, heart and vascular care (including WATCHMAN and TAVR), cancer treatment, plastic and reconstructive surgery, robotic surgery, orthopedic surgery, and much more!

• Act as Program Director to instruct and mentor residents in a 2/2/2 residency program.
• Educate and prepare the next generation of physicians for their careers. We are dedicated to creating a role that aligns with your strengths and interests.

• Precepting Residents: Instructing and guiding residents in both clinical and hospital settings (50% of your time).
• Clinical Practice: Deliver clinical care in our residency clinic and other community facilities (30% of your time).
• Administrative & Curriculum Development: Allocate time for program administration and curriculum design (20% of your time).

• Engage in comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, procedural care, nursing home, and women's health.
• Well-established opportunities for medical student education.
• This is a distinctive chance to develop and shape a rural community-based residency program while maintaining an active clinical practice.
• Responsible for ongoing program development and ensuring accreditation compliance with ACGME standards:
  • Oversee the quality of education, curricula, and experiential rotations.
  • Lead the interview, selection, and evaluation processes for residents.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, teaching, and administrative oversight to residents.
  • Collaborate closely with hospital and medical staff to ensure effective integration within the organization.

• Experience in leadership roles in Graduate Medical Education (GME) and clinical practice.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in a relevant field.
• MD/DO board certified or board eligible.
• Proficient in delivering exceptional patient care.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
