Electrical Project Manager - Data centers

Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Traveling Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical projects in data centers. This role involves managing mission-critical electrical infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimizing power distribution systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical project management and a strong background in data center operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage electrical projects within data centers, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery. Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of electrical infrastructure and power distribution systems. Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E standards and other relevant safety regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and construction, to deliver successful projects. Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments to maintain high standards of work. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status and performance. Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in data center environments. Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure, power distribution systems, and mission-critical facilities. Familiarity with NFPA 70E and other safety regulations related to electrical work. Proven ability to travel extensively to project sites as required. Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders. Experience with major tech companies such as Google or AWS is a plus.
