James Island ER Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN

HCA Healthcare is seeking a James Island ER Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team and help lead high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the ER, you will combine direct bedside practice with front-line leadership, serving as a clinical resource and role model for the nursing team while supporting efficient, safe operations throughout the department. Working in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary staff, you will help manage patient flow, oversee daily assignments, and ensure timely, evidence-based care for patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions.

In this role, you will function as an experienced emergency nurse, providing comprehensive triage, rapid assessment, and ongoing evaluation, while administering medications, coordinating diagnostics, and responding to changing patient needs. You will support staff by offering real-time guidance on complex cases, reinforcing adherence to clinical protocols, and helping to address clinical or operational challenges as they arise. You will actively participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, monitoring key ER performance indicators and contributing to action plans that enhance outcomes and patient experience.
