Overview JOB SUMMARY: Seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. This position involves performing a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and physician orders. Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently. Obtain optimal patient images for diagnostic interpretation. Document patient information and procedure details accurately in accordance with facility policies. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Schedule / Shift 3x12s (1700-0530) or 3x10s (1700-0330) - Traveler's Choice Friday, Saturday, Sunday Required Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program. Valid state professional license if required by law. Current BLS certification. Current ARDMS certification. ARDMS AB or ARDMS OB/GYN certification required (not both). Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist. First-time travelers are accepted. Certifications BLS ARDMS ARDMS AB or ARDMS OB/GYN Skills Proficient in performing general diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physics. Ability to interpret ultrasound images. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Floating / On-Call On-call requirements: 2-3 call shifts per month. #J-18808-Ljbffr
