Work Environment\nThis remote position promises a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, with working hours set from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients facing various challenges such as mood disorders, trauma recovery, life transitions, and relationship issues. \n
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including intake evaluations and ongoing diagnostic assessments, while developing individualized treatment plans that align with client goals. \n
- Utilize evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, person-centered approaches, and solution-focused strategies to facilitate client healing and growth. \n
- Establish a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients, guiding them in setting achievable goals and developing actionable treatment strategies for lasting change. \n
- Respond effectively to clients in crisis, offering immediate interventions and support as necessary to ensure their safety and well-being. \n
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation under ethical standards and compliance with state regulations, ensuring informed consent and client confidentiality at all times. \n
- Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide integrated care that addresses the holistic needs of clients. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development and consider opportunities for supervision or mentorship of less experienced counselors as desired. \n
The clients you will serve include individuals from various backgrounds experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, relationship difficulties, and grief. Understanding the unique cultural contexts and identities of our clients is crucial as we strive to provide individualized and culturally sensitive care. You will have the chance to work with not only adults but also adolescents and couples, depending on your expertise and interests.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n
- A valid and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. \n
- At least 2 years of practical experience in providing therapy in outpatient or clinical settings, demonstrating the ability to handle a varied caseload. \n
- Strong clinical assessment skills, proficiency in developing effective treatment plans, and experience in employing diverse therapeutic approaches. \n
- An understanding of ethical principles, confidentiality laws, and best practices within mental health counseling. \n
- Commitment to ongoing professional self-improvement and the integration of culturally responsive practices in therapeutic work. \n

- Experience in trauma-informed care, grief counseling, couples therapy, or adolescent therapy is highly desirable. \n
- Familiarity with digital therapeutic tools and platforms is a plus, as we leverage technology to enhance client engagement and service delivery. \n
- Previous involvement in group therapy or workshops would be beneficial. \n
