EMT or Paramedic (PRN)

Medcor is looking to hire a EMT or Paramedic on a PRN basis to serve as an Onsite Health Technician in our occupational health clinic located in the Inland Empire area: Ontario, Fontana, Rialto, and Riverside. The hours of the clinics are Sunday‑Saturday, 8:00 am to 2:00 am, with each shift being 8 hours. The compensation for this position is $26.00–$28.00 per hour, based upon licensure and experience. The position’s responsibilities include collaborative work with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts in the client’s corporate structure. Day‑to‑day duties involve patient care, ongoing workers’ compensation case management, return‑to‑work program facilitation, and treatment plan monitoring, working closely with external medical providers. Typical Day in the Life of an Onsite Health Technician Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic. Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees. Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses per Medcor’s Evidence‑Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols). Build and maintain internal team relationships. Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings. Document care using EMR and other tools. Manage cases and chart medical information. You Must Love what you do. Hold valid licensure for the applicable position. Maintain current CPR/BLS certification. Have strong computer and technology skills, including familiarity with EMR software. Be physically able to lift a 50 lb emergency response bag. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills. Have a positive and outgoing personality. Be willing to go above and beyond because that’s who you are. You have relevant occupational health experience. You have experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
