OVERVIEW

As an Onboarding Specialist, you'll be the first true point of contact for new JL Marketing clients — guiding them through a smooth, confident start to their partnership with us. You'll own the onboarding experience from kickoff to campaign launch across our core advertising platforms, including Meta, Google, and TikTok, ensuring every client feels informed, supported, and set up for success. This is a highly client-facing role that blends project management, technical setup, and relationship-building.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients throughout the onboarding process, setting a positive tone for the client relationship from day one.
• Lead onboarding kickoff calls to walk clients through the process, timelines, and what to expect as their campaigns go live.
• Collect and organize required assets, account access, brand guidelines, tracking pixels, and billing information from new clients.
• Set up and configure new client accounts across Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads Manager in line with JL Marketing's onboarding standards.
• Coordinate with production, media buying, and account management teams to ensure a seamless handoff once onboarding is complete.
• Troubleshoot platform access issues, permissions, and technical integrations (e.g., pixels, conversion tracking, business manager access).
• Maintain accurate onboarding documentation, checklists, and status updates in ClickUp and HubSpot.
• Proactively communicate timelines, delays, and next steps to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and help resolve onboarding bottlenecks, continuously improving the onboarding process and materials.
• Ensure all onboarding activities comply with platform policies, data privacy requirements, and JL Marketing's internal standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience in client onboarding, account management, or a client-facing role within a digital marketing agency or similar environment.
• Hands-on working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads Manager
• 1+ years experience in Paid Media within Meta, Google Ads and TikTok.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to lead client-facing calls.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple client onboardings simultaneously.
• Comfortable working with project management and CRM tools (ClickUp and HubSpot preferred).
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a genuine passion for client experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience onboarding clients in a fast-paced, multi-platform agency setting.
• Familiarity with tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and conversion APIs (CAPI).
• Prior experience supporting or collaborating with media buying and creative teams.
