Job Description

Accounts Payable/Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Data Entry Clerk to support our accounting and office operations. This role is primarily responsible for entering invoices, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate will have experience using QuickBooks , basic office skills, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Enter invoices and accounts payable information into QuickBooks.
Verify invoice details for accuracy before processing.
Maintain organized files and accounting records.
Assist with processing vendor payments.
Reconcile vendor statements and identify discrepancies.
Respond to basic vendor inquiries regarding payments and invoices.
Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy.
Assist with scanning, filing, copying, and other administrative tasks.
Support the accounting team with clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous data entry, clerical, or accounts payable experience preferred.
Experience with QuickBooks required.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Position Details

Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Pay: $23/HR
