Our Business Support teams enable our trading and engineering teams to perform at their best.At Tower, employees will find a stimulating, results-oriented environment where highly intelligent and motivated colleagues inspire each other to reach their greatest potential.Tower seeks an experienced Index Options Trader.Responsibilities:Managing a portfolio of listed options productsCollaborating with other traders and quantitative researchers to optimize existing strategiesWorking with developers to improve systems, latency, and executionIdentifying and monetizing new trading opportunitiesMentoring junior traders and/or quantitative researchersQualifications:3+ years of experience on a high volume share index options market-making deskExpertise in capturing opportunities from both short-term and long-term dislocations in volatility pricingDeep understanding of the risks involved in managing a large index options portfolioExperience in operating, optimizing, and iteratively improving distributed automated trading systemsKnowledge of various exchange protocols to achieve best executionAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentPassion and drive to take a leading role in a growing options businessRelevant programming experience, preferably in Python and/or C++Excellent attention to detailAnticipated New York annual base salary range $120,000-180,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonusBenefitsTower’s headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYC’s Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world. At Tower, we believe work should be both challenging and enjoyable.
