Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Duty Truck Technician
Missoula, MT
We’re looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Duty Truck Technician to join a well-established heavy truck repair operation in Missoula, Montana.
If you can diagnose problems, turn quality work, and want a shop that’s organized, well-equipped, and steady year-round, this is worth a look.

Pay & Schedule
- $30–$42/hr based on experience and diagnostic ability
- Monday–Friday schedule
- No nights
- No weekends
- Stable, full-time work
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair Class 6–8 trucks
- Troubleshoot:
- Diesel engines
- Electrical systems
- Hydraulics
- Brakes
- HVAC systems
- Suspension & drivetrain components
- Complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work independently and alongside other technicians
Qualifications
- 5+ years of diesel/heavy truck repair experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
- Reliable and self-motivated
- CDL is a plus, not required
