Location: Medical Office Building-Fort Worth (750 8th Ave) Department: Genetics Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: Cook Children's Healthcare System (based in Fort Worth, Texas) has an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Clinical Geneticist physician to join its Department of Genetics. Key Highlights Highly profitable health system known as a national quality leader. Well-established Department of Genetics currently staffed by 8 clinical geneticists, 2 metabolic geneticists, board-certified genetic counselors, case managers, metabolic dietitian, and metabolic nurses. Broad pediatric sub-specialty platform with 35 Departments represented and 46 outpatient primary care clinics in the Cook Children's network. Close involvement with the Texas newborn screening program. Research and teaching interests can be supported if desired. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required. Completed a clinical genetics fellowship. An additional fellowship in either clinical biochemical genetics or medical biochemical genetics would be a valuable asset. Must also be American Heart Association certified in BLS.
