Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No previous experience allowed for Staff at Program: AMN Program - Avera Health and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Avera Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Float experience does not count toward the unit experience requirement.
Preferred Skills/Experience: ICU, ER, MedSurg, peds, and labor & delivery with neonate experience is a plus.
Unit Details: Works across outpatient and inpatient areas including med/surg, ICU, ED, pediatrics, and OB. Outpatient duties include PFTs, Holter monitors/Zio patches, telemed with pulmonary physician, home sleep study instruction, and stress tests. Supports high-risk deliveries and c-sections. Patient population spans all age ranges.
Shift & Scheduling: Day shift with rotating weekends. Overnight on-call from 7p-6a.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
