Ideal qualifications and experience include:

• Hold a valid RN license and Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential
• Prior experience in a school-based, pediatric, or public health setting preferred
• Exceptional assessment and communication skills
• Ability to provide emergency care and develop health plans for students
• Comfort working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Adaptable, compassionate, and detail-oriented approach

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students across various grade levels
• Conduct health screenings and manage immunization records
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans in partnership with families and educators
• Respond to medical emergencies and administer first aid as required
• Maintain confidential health documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Educate students and staff on relevant health topics, wellness, and safety
• Support positive health outcomes and a safe school environment
