Somatic or EMDR Psychotherapist--San Jose

Beyond Psychology Center was founded by Steven and Angie Bradshaw on the premise that increasing awareness of the body and nervous system is one of the most powerful pathways to healing, growth, and enduring psychological change. We are building a team of therapists who want to learn and grow in a vibrant healing community. Role Description Hybrid on-site/remote role for a licensed Psychotherapist or Associate (registration number required). Applicants should be located within commuting distance of our Campbell, California, United States office and available to work on-site one to two days per week. You will provide psychotherapy services to adults in a hybrid in-person and telehealth setting. Recent hires have built caseloads of 15 clients within 4–6 months. A typical full caseload consists of 15–25 ongoing weekly client sessions. We handle marketing, fully-automated consultation scheduling, billing, out-of-network claim submission, and administrative infrastructure so therapists can focus on clinical work and professional development. Each clinician receives a professionally filmed and edited introduction video to support client connection and practice growth (a $600 value). Compensation (W-2) Licensed therapists earn 60% of collected session revenue. Our licensed clinicians charge $200–$350 per session, resulting in earnings of approximately $120–$210 per session. Associate therapists earn 40% of collected session revenue. Associate clinician rates range from $150–$250 per session, resulting in earnings of approximately $60–$100 per session. Additional compensation for both licensed and associate therapists of $21 per hour for training, supervision and administrative activities. Ongoing Training and Support Therapists participate in bi-weekly consultation groups and receive ongoing consultation, mentorship, and clinical training in somatic, trauma-focused, and experiential approaches. In addition, each clinician receives a $1,000 annual professional development allowance to be used toward somatic and trauma-focused trainings. Requirements We require that you have completed or are currently training in some form of somatic therapy such as: Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Hakomi, Sensorimotor, trauma-sensitive yoga, or other mindfulness approaches outside of your graduate degree. We will provide ongoing supervision, training, and mentorship in this area. Therapists who enjoy working with motivated, insight-oriented adults tend to thrive in our practice.
