Cashier

olia Restaurant is seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions and ensuring a positive dining experience. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality. Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries about the menu or payment options. Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately using the restaurant’s POS system. Ensure accurate pricing and provide receipts to customers. Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and surrounding area. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and raise issues to management when necessary. Assist with light inventory tasks, such as restocking condiments or takeout supplies, as needed. Balance daily sales and complete shift-end reconciliation reports. Qualifications Prior cashier or customer service experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
