Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to work in Tulsa, OK and surrounding cities.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:00AM - 5:00PM work hours will vary with one Saturday a month 8:00AM - 12:00PMJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent1 year of more experience as a phlebotomistPreferred Qualifications:Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 years or more experience as a phlebotomistAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyValid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportationAt least 21 years' oldProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionReliable transportation and clean driving record if applicableFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testAt Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
