What You’ll Do Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to assess students’ needs. Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans that support student success. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams through IEPs, SSTs, 504 Plans, and problem-solving meetings. Track progress using EMR and other approved systems in alignment with DOE and Easterseals standards. Prepare reports, justifications, and documentation to ensure quality service and compliance. Mentor and supervise assistant-level therapists (COTAs), interns, and volunteers. Participate in peer reviews and ongoing professional development What You Bring Master’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program Current State of Florida Physical Therapist license and eligibility for an NPI number One year of related clinical experience and/or training (pediatric therapy experience preferred) Current CPR Certification Strong collaboration and communication skills Integrity, flexibility, and a heart for helping children thrive Pediatric or school-based experience preferred Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required, for program-related needs (minimum age of 21 and good driving history) Join Easterseals Florida and enjoy the best of both worlds — meaningful, school-year work that supports children’s growth, and the time to recharge and renew each summer.
