Machine Operator - Day Shift Only

Position Summary We are hiring a Machine Operator with CNC/Press Brake experience, based in Lafayette, IN. Responsibilities include setting up and operating press brake, measuring, and inspecting parts. Responsibilities Set up parameters of press brake through the touch screen on the equipment to adjust tonnage, angle, speed, and number of bends on a work piece. Produce parts in the proper quantity as identified by the production schedule. Determine angle of bends by utilizing protractor, tape measure, and squares to ensure that parts conform to customer specifications. Perform in‑process inspections of parts throughout the manufacturing run and ensure they meet visual standards of acceptance. Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum one year press brake or CNC machine operation experience; or recent certification from a manufacturing or technical program. Benefits Day Shift Only; Monday–Thursday 5:30 am–4:00 pm.
