Staff Accountant

POSITION SUMMARY

The Staff Accountant role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to build broad experience across accounting operations, reporting, and financial analysis. This role supports key monthly reporting, budgeting activities, service fee processes, and cross-functional accounting support while partnering with teams across the Company. The ideal candidate is meticulous, analytical, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within a dynamic accounting organization. This position offers strong exposure to cross-functional business operations and a solid foundation for long-term growth within accounting and finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support monthly accounting and financial analysis activities that align with company objectives and provide meaningful insight into business performance. Administer monthly growth program payouts in collaboration with internal teams. Assist with the annual budgeting process, including coordination of budgeting tools and support materials. Prepare and distribute standard monthly reports, including Service Fee Reports, Supplemental Service Fee Reports, and Bonus Dividend Reports. Develop reporting and analysis related to supplemental service fees, bonus dividends, and marketing program trends. Partner with the Financial Controller to deliver analysis that supports business and leadership decision‑making. Develop cross‑functional knowledge to provide backup support for monthly reconciliations, service fee processing, cash application, and other core accounting functions as needed. Build working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, monthly close activities, and financial statement preparation. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

1–2 years of relevant accounting and finance experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree required; accounting or finance preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills. Solid foundation in accounting principles and financial analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn accounting and BI tools quickly. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficiently. Excellent communication skills across all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
