Recognizing and valuing exceptional talent, we're eager to discuss the exciting details of this bonus during our interview process.Summary:We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Phlebotomist to work onsite at 500 Merrimack Street in Lawrence, MA. The desired schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30 pm. The role also requires one Saturday per month at our Haverhill location from 7:30 am to 11:30 am!Our Phlebotomists play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and are responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens from patients for laboratory testing.Essential Functions:Obtains quality blood samples using a variety of phlebotomy methods for all age groups.Ensures accurate patient identification, quality specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation ofspecimens.Communicates effectively with patients and patient care teams, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.Handles sharps and biohazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure the safety of patients and staff.Works fluently with computer programs and systems, and complies with HIPAA regulations.Performs other test administration and specimen collection as assignedPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsQualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent requiredCompletion of a phlebotomy course preferredAdditional Job Details (if applicable)At Mass General Brigham, our employees are our most important resource.
