Summary Trimpe Middle School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher to join our team for the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, engaging students in scientific inquiry, and promoting critical thinking skills. This full-time position offers the opportunity to inspire young minds and contribute to the academic success of our students. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with state standards and school curriculum. Teach a variety of math subjects. Create an interactive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing timely feedback and support. Foster a culture of inquiry by encouraging students to ask questions, conduct experiments, and explore mathematical concepts. Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and parents to support student learning and development. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that promotes respect and responsibility. Contribute to school events, extracurricular activities, and community outreach programs related to science education. Requirements Valid Professional Educator License with appropriate Secondary and Mathematics Endorsement Strong knowledge of scientific principles and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop a passion for science. Experience with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment. Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance instruction.
