Ready for a fast-paced warehouse position with competitive pay and the opportunity to get hired on with a well-established Kearney employer? We're hiring Order Pickers for both 1st and 2nd shifts. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with regular pay increases after hire, excellent benefits and opportunities to advance.

Pay:

• 1st Shift: $21.45/hr
• 2nd Shift: $22.45/hr
• After being hired on permanently, employees receive pay increases every three months through their first 12 months.

Hours may vary and shifts may transition to 10-hour schedules. Candidates must also be available to work weekends when required.

What You'll Do

As an Order Picker, you'll locate and pick products to accurately fill customer orders. Depending on your assignment, you may perform case picking, less-than-case picking or assist with UPS processing.

Responsibilities include:

• Pick customer orders according to designated warehouse locations.
• Select the correct quantity and type of product for each order.
• Use pick labels, pick sheets and voice-picking equipment.
• Replenish inventory in designated picking locations.
• Operate electric and manual pallet jacks and power carts.
• Use handheld RF terminals and radios.
• Assist with physical inventory counts.
• Help load and unload export containers as needed.
• Inspect cases for damage or defects before shipment.
• Meet established production standards.
• Complete required department paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

• At least three months of warehouse and/or forklift experience
• Ability to lift and transport products weighing approximately 50 pounds or more
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders as required
• Ability to safely operate powered warehouse equipment
• Dependable with strong attendance
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible with scheduling, including 8 or 10-hour shifts and weekends when required
• Minimum 10th grade education
