Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

A fantastic opportunity for an OB/GYN specialist is available at a medical facility providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecology services. This assignment is ideal for a qualified OB/GYN physician interested in covering call shifts with a flexible schedule. Applicants must be local and available for a minimum of 5 shifts per month, accommodating patient needs with occasional night and call shifts, including 24-hour coverage.

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional night or call shifts
- Patient Population: Adult, focusing on a mix of low risk and high risk pregnancies, and gynecological care
- Location: Gaylord, Michigan
- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates
- Weekly direct deposit

- Flexible scheduling
- Provide high-quality care for low-risk and high-risk pregnancies.
- Perform required obstetrics procedures, including routine and complicated deliveries.
- Handle gynecological procedures such as ectopic pregnancies and ovarian surgeries.
- Collaborate with a robust team including nursing staff and on-site specialists.
- Board Certified OB/GYN (no Board Eligible candidates)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Current and active Michigan medical license
- Must currently participate in MI Medicaid/CHAMPS
- Clean background for quick credentialing
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Self-Query NPDB required
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) as needed
- Proficient in handling both low-risk and high-risk pregnancy cases
- Skilled in obstetrics procedures, including C-sections and complicated deliveries
- Competent in gynecological surgeries and procedures
- Strong decision-making and communication skills
