Come join the Outback family as a Dishwasher, where you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of dishes and small wares at the restaurant. Dishwashers are also responsible for trash disposal and linen bag removal. Ensure that washed items meet the appropriate rinse and wash temperature criteria. As a Dishwasher, you’ll help provide each customer with an AUS-SOME dining experience by serving food on perfectly clean plates and silverware. Closed on Thanksgiving & Christmas Day to spend with family & friends! RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain organization and flow while washing dishes and utensils. Practice food safety and sanitation. Restock kitchen and cook line as needed. Perform general cleaning of the restaurant. Manage the pace and organization of dish execution. Understand and operate the dish machine and all chemical components. Change out water and chemicals as needed. Keep floors clean and dry. Ensure plates and smallware are clean. Inspect food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas for safety and health compliance. Correct unsafe practices or conditions and notify management. REQUIREMENTS: 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. Team player. Availability to work various shifts, including opens, swings, and closes. Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs. Good vision abilities: distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral; ability to adjust focus. Use hands to handle objects and tools; reach with hands and arms.
