Your Day-to-Day

• Conduct standard and advanced laboratory testscovering areas like chemistry, hematology, and immunologywhile adhering to established protocols.
• Scrutinize results for consistency, address discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and sample preparation as necessary.
• Document all laboratory procedures in detail, participate in training of new staff or interns, and ensure lab quality standards are met.
• Keep a tidy, safe workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, coupled with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be achieved within the first year of employment.
• Maintain an active certification status throughout your time here.
