Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer - B2B AI & Data Products to design and build scalable data solutions that power enterprise analytics, reporting, and AI-driven applications. This role will combine strong data engineering expertise with hands-on experience in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, semantic search, and AI-powered data products. The ideal candidate will help create trusted, AI-ready data foundations while partnering with business, product, analytics, and technology teams.

• Pay Range :$80/hr on w2 to $85/hr on w2

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines, integrations, and enterprise data platforms.
  
  
• Develop curated, trusted datasets for analytics, reporting, dashboards, and AI applications.
  
  
• Build AI-ready data architectures supporting LLMs, RAG, semantic search, conversational agents, and AI assistants.
  
  
• Design semantic layers, metadata structures, knowledge repositories, vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval solutions.
  
  
• Integrate structured and unstructured data into scalable AI-enabled environments.
  
  
• Develop data pipelines supporting machine learning, Generative AI, predictive analytics, and agentic AI solutions.
  
  
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, lineage, observability, and compliance.
  
  
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven self-service and data discovery capabilities.
  
  
• Evaluate emerging data and AI technologies and contribute to enterprise data platform modernization.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or enterprise data platforms.
  
  
• Strong expertise in SQL and Python.
  
  
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, or Azure and hybrid data environments.
  
  
• Strong experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data modeling, data warehousing, and Lakehouse architectures.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI Assistants, Copilots, or Conversational AI.
  
  
• Experience designing RAG, semantic search, vector databases, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval solutions.
  
  
• Familiarity with AI technologies/frameworks such as Amazon Bedrock, Snowflake Cortex AI, Databricks Mosaic AI, Claude, Cursor, or equivalent.
  
  
• Experience with metadata management, semantic layers, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
  
  
• Experience supporting Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
  
  
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
