Phlebotomist - Float

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Melrose MA Work Schedule: Your planned work schedule will be an 8 hour shift Monday - Friday, scheduled hours vary between 7:00 am - 6:00 pm and rotating Saturdays. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week. Job Responsibilities: * Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups * Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. * Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner * Process billing information and collect payments when required * Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis * Maintain patient and specimen information logs * Provide superior customer service to all patients * Administrative and clerical duties as necessary * Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 or more months phlebotomy experience Preferred Qualifications: * Current or prior LabCorp experience * 1 or more years phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards: * Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required * Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service * Strong communication skills; both written and verbal * Ability to work independently or in a team environment * Comfortable working under minimal supervision * Flexibility to work overtime as needed * Able to pass a standardized color blindness test * Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation * Must be at least 21 years' old At Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives. Pay Range: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
