Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes delegating and directing therapy services, creating functional treatment programs, and serving as an educator for patients, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and goals focused on patient progress.
• Document medical records accurately and timely in compliance with guidelines.
• Provide a positive learning environment for students and assist with their development.
• Create and pursue individualized professional development plans.
• Adhere to the state practice act and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
