Golf Shop Attendant Rock Manor Golf Course, located in Wilmington, DE, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Golf Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. The Golf Shop Attendant will offer friendly and expedient service to the property's guests and assist the golf professional staff in golf shop operations, merchandise sales, and other golf-related activities. Key responsibilities include: Processing customer reservations for guests of the golf course Providing customer service to arriving guests to help expedite the check-in process Arranging and displaying golf shop inventory as necessary and directed Collecting green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processing transactions in the POS system as trained Issuing receipts for guest purchases Taking messages for staff or guests Assisting in packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies Assisting in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at the close of day Performing related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Qualifications, experience, and skill requirements include: A friendly and positive personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills Dependability and a strong work ethic Knowledge of the game of golf preferred Working conditions include: Regularly required to reach with arms and hands Often required to walk, stand, talk, or hear, handle, feel, or operate objects Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds occasionally Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception Noise level is moderately quiet Must work extended hours during the golf and holiday season Must work weekends and holidays Benefits and other compensation include: Healthcare benefits medical (if determined by the ACA measurement) Retirement benefits 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.
