PARALEGAL – REPUTATION MANAGEMENT & PRIVACY LAW Location: Full remote possible. We work across search‑engine results, banking and financial databases, and other public records, applying privacy and defamation law to remove inaccurate or harmful information. Role Overview We are looking for a Paralegal with proven experience in reputation‑management cases, particularly involving: Search‑engine de‑indexing and content removal requests Corrections or deletions in banking/financial databases Application of privacy statutes (e.g., DSG, GDPR) and defamation law You will support senior staff, draft and file removal requests, liaise with third‑party platforms, and manage case files from intake through resolution. Key Responsibilities Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct up‑to‑date research on Swiss privacy, data‑protection, and defamation legislation; summarize findings for attorneys. Draft Removal Requests: Prepare cease‑and‑desist letters, DMCA takedown notices, and formal data‑correction requests for search engines, social media, and banking institutions. Case Management: Maintain organized case files in our secure document‑management system; track deadlines, filings, and outcomes. Platform Liaison: Communicate with Google, Bing, local directories, banks, and other data controllers to negotiate removals or corrections. Reporting: Produce regular summary reports on case progress, success metrics, and emerging trends in reputation‑management litigation. Required Qualifications Education: Completed paralegal certification or equivalent; law degree (LL.B./J.D.) is a plus. Experience: Minimum 2 years in a law firm, corporate legal department, or specialised consultancy handling privacy, defamation, or data‑removal matters—preferably within Switzerland. Technical Skills: Familiarity with search‑engine indexing, online reputation‑monitoring tools, and basic data‑privacy software. Language: Fluent in English. Additional languages are a plus. Analytical and creative Ability: Strong research skills and attention to detail when interpreting statutes and drafting precise legal documents. Ability to think outside of the box for new and innovative solutions to our clients problems. Communication: Excellent written communication for crafting persuasive removal requests and client correspondence. Ethics & Confidentiality: Proven track record of handling sensitive personal data with discretion and integrity.
