About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to spearhead the clinical strategy and advancement of healthcare delivery within the organization. The successful candidate will be a key figure in driving quality outcomes, physician engagement, and population health initiatives. This executive leadership role demands a seasoned professional with a strong background in medical management, quality, and utilization, as well as a proven track record in clinical performance. The CMO will be responsible for providing executive oversight, partnering with senior leadership, and building collaborative relationships with physicians, providers, and community partners. Additionally, the role involves leading and mentoring physician leadership teams, supporting accreditation and compliance efforts, and driving strategic initiatives focused on health equity, wellness, and access to care. Applicants for the CMO position at the company must hold an MD from an accredited medical school, be board-certified in a medical specialty, and possess an active California medical license. A minimum of 12 years' progressive clinical leadership experience, with at least 7 years in Medi-Cal and Medicare populations, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic leadership, communication, collaboration, and operational decision-making, with a preference for those experienced in quality improvement, utilization management, and population health initiatives.
