Manager, Enterprise Voice Communications
Hybrid onsite
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Enterprise Voice Communications to lead our enterprise voice engineering organization. This leadership role is responsible for managing a team of voice engineers while driving the strategy, architecture, security, and operational excellence of a large-scale enterprise communications environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of voice engineers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Develop the long-term vision and roadmap for enterprise voice and unified communications technologies.
- Oversee modern enterprise telephony platforms, voice infrastructure, and carrier relationships.
- Manage strategic vendor partnerships, contract negotiations, and service delivery.
- Ensure highly available, secure, and resilient voice services across the enterprise.
- Lead platform modernization efforts, technology upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure enhancements.
- Partner with business and IT leadership to align communications technologies with organizational goals.
- Drive operational excellence through process improvements, governance, and continuous service optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or comparable professional experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise voice, unified communications, or telecommunications environments, including leadership responsibilities.
- Demonstrated success managing engineering teams, technical projects, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience with enterprise voice platforms, session border controllers (SBCs), SIP technologies, and carrier connectivity.
- Strong background supporting enterprise communications solutions such as Ribbon, Cisco, Avaya, Genesys, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with communications security, cloud-based voice solutions, vulnerability management, and regulatory or compliance best practices.
- Experience working with enterprise security and risk management tools is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, vendor management, and negotiation skills.
