Software Development Architect - Remote

Salary: $112,700 - 193,200 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree, or at least 4 years of equivalent experience in software engineering and architecture.
• We require 5+ years of leadership experience in an architectural capacity guiding software engineering teams.
• We require 5+ years of experience designing enterprise-scale distributed systems.
• We require 5+ years of software engineering experience across APIs, web applications, cloud platforms, file-based integrations, batch processing, SQL and NoSQL databases, and data integration approaches.
• We require 2+ years of experience building, deploying, or integrating AI-enabled capabilities, machine learning pipelines, or enterprise automation.
• We require proven experience presenting architectural direction, technical approaches, and trade-offs to executive stakeholders and leadership teams.

• We provide architectural direction for MCNA Dental software development across portals, internal business applications, EDI systems, and HL7 APIs.
• We communicate our architectural vision, technical strategy, and key trade-offs across multiple levels of the organization to build alignment with executives and stakeholders.
• We design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled solutions, platform automation, and modern technical capabilities to solve complex business problems with responsible AI practices.
• We advise on ways to improve system performance, reliability, and reusability within budgetary, staffing, and business constraints.
• We assess emerging technologies, architecture trends, and integration patterns to shape solution design, technical briefings, and strategic innovation.
• We collaborate across teams to support active initiatives, deliver technical briefings, and showcase new technologies across the organization.
• We use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline software engineering workflows, automate development tasks, and support continuous improvement.
• We lead business solutions and capability development while partnering closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
