Radiology Medical Assistant – Radiology

Schedule: Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Assignment Details: Contract length: 4 weeks, guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week.

Requirements:

• Proficient in starting IVs in some modalities.
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years (required).
• Experience in a teaching facility preferred.
• Ability to assist in clerical non-technical aspects of patient exams.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Radiology Tech in conducting patient exams.
• Manage workflow and assist the radiology nurse and radiologist.
• Answer phones and stock rooms.
• Aid patients in and out of exam rooms.
• Schedule and process exams.
• Prepare for regulatory and hospital audits.

Compliance / Notes: Public transportation is not accessible in this area; reliable transportation is necessary.
