Radiation Therapist Chillicothe, OH Specialty: Radiation Therapy Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $2,326-$2,802 per week | Shift: 5x8 days, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; no call or holidays Are you a Radiation Therapist who takes pride in delivering precise, compassionate care? Do you thrive in a collaborative setting where patient safety and treatment accuracy come first? Join a team focused on helping patients navigate radiation therapy with confidence and support. In this role, you'll deliver prescribed radiation treatments according to physician orders and established protocols. You'll work closely with Radiation Oncologists and the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment and support positive patient outcomes.
- Verify patient identity, review imaging, and complete treatment safety checks and timeouts.
- Acquire and evaluate kV, MV, and CBCT imaging to support accurate positioning and treatment delivery.
- Review treatment plans and patient charts, identifying discrepancies and helping prevent treatment errors.
- Provide patient-centered care and education throughout the treatment process.
- Bring at least 2 years of experience in a radiation therapy setting, 3 years of clinical radiation therapy experience, and at least 1 year of travel experience.
- Hold an Associate of Applied Science in Radiation Therapy, current ARRT (T) certification, an up-to-date state license, and BLS certification.
- Have experience with EPIC and ARIA.
- Reside more than 60 miles from the work location.
