WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Job Description:

This position is responsible for supporting warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory handling, local deliveries, and basic repair/maintenance of tools and equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Prepare outgoing shipments including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock organization and cycle counts.
• Perform local deliveries and pickups of materials, tools, and equipment as required.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and distribution of warehouse materials and supplies.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified/required).
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform basic repair or maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Keep warehouse, storage areas, and workspaces clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, vendors, and internal teams regarding shipments and deliveries.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and material handling guidelines.
• Work independently to complete daily tasks and assigned responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license required (clean driving record preferred).
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and documentation.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing tools or equipment.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and basic warehouse equipment.
• Excellent attendance, reliability, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout warehouse and job sites for extended periods.
• Ability to load and unload materials from vehicles and storage areas.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be physically capable of performing manual labor tasks safely.

Work Schedule & Hours:

• Full-time position averaging 40 per week.
• Overtime may be required based on workload and delivery schedules.
• Reliability is essential.
