Mainframe Programmer /Newark, NJ (Hybrid), 4+ Months Contract

Job Description MUST BE LOCAL to Newark, NJ area...NOT REMOTE - hybrid 2 days in office
Responsibilities:
• Maintenance and support of existing Natural systems
• Enhancements to existing code base
• nalysis of existing code and enhancement request to implement modifications
• dherence to coding standards and procedures
• Tests enhancements to coding changes
• Writing program specifications and documentation.
• On-call for occasional off-hours production troubleshooting.
• Modification of JCL for production changes.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Natural/Adabas
• Proficiency in TSO MVS JCL
• Working experience on Predict(Mainframe)
• bility to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing to IT and non-IT staff.
• Skilled in systems analysis.
• Skilled in testing theory and procedures.
• bility to analyze and formulate solutions to complex problems.
• bility to design and recommend efficient solutions to requests.
• Meets the requirements of the set time schedule.
• Six years of experience in Natural/Adabas programming
