We are looking for individuals experienced in logistics and transportation to add to our team who will contribute to achieving our mission.Key Responsibilities:Pick up inventory at manufacturer's site and return to hub terminal on a daily basisHas overall responsibility for unloading and loading materials from trailers to warehouseHas overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within warehouseVerifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenanceMaintains complete paperwork as neededOperates warehouse equipment in a safe mannerRequirements:Must pass DOT required drug and alcohol tests, MVR and Criminal Background ScreeningsMinimum 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience (required)Valid Class A CDL LicensePrevious driving and warehouse inventory experience requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work with heavy furnitureAbility to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand, and climb as required to secure a loadRequires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing, and/or pulling in an outdoor environmentReliable attendance and flexibility in hoursDetailed record keepingOrganizedJob Type: Full-time Metropolitan Warehouse is an equal opportunity employer.
