Urology Physician

Seeking a locum Urologist to provide inpatient coverage. This is a hospital-based role focused entirely on adult and geriatric patients, with support from an established urology team and inpatient APC coverage. The position offers a collaborative environment with access to on-site diagnostics and surgical resources. Dates / Schedule Coverage Type: Locum tenens (ongoing need) Setting: 100% inpatient Schedule: Not specified (flexible based on coverage gaps) Must be willing to cover both hospital locations Job Details / Responsibilities Provide inpatient urology care for adult and geriatric patients Perform: General urology procedures Ureteroscopy Collaborate with: 5 urologists in the group Inpatient APC support (7 days/week) Work in a Level III trauma setting Utilize on-site: Lab services Imaging (X-ray) Travel expenses covered (flight, hotel, rental car, mileage if applicable) Required Skills & Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology Active South Carolina medical license (or willing to obtain) Certifications: ACLS BLS DEA required Must be comfortable with inpatient urology and procedural work (including ureteroscopy) NPDB self-query (within 30 days) required at submission Must be willing to cover both hospital sites
