job summary:
Mechanical Engineer to drive innovation at world-class manufacturing facility in Duluth, GA. This role is pivotal in developing and introducing new designs into production, enhancing existing designs already in production, and providing mentoring within the engineering team.

responsibilities:

• Developing and introducing new designs into production
  
  
• Deliver designs with innovative, cutting-edge technology produced locally in a world-class manufacturing facility.
  
  
• Designing injection molded thermoplastic parts
  
  
• Specifying machining requirements for metal and plastic parts
  
  
• Modeling mechanical parts in 3D CAD
  
  
• Developing product test plans and specifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  
  
• Must have at least five (5) years mechanical design experience within a manufacturing environment
  
  
• 3D CAD expereicne (CREO preferred)
  
  
• Ability to design for automation

Preferred:

• Experience in an injection molding, machining, casting, or forging environment
