GROCERY-NITE/CLERK

Job Description Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to ensure the customer’s return visit. Treat customers and employees fairly and ethically, promote an inclusive work environment, be a responsible community member, and provide the right products at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Responsibilities Conduct yourself in a professional manner, displaying a positive attitude and speaking highly of the company. Respond to customer questions and requests courteously and helpfully. Follow all company policies and procedures. Understand and adhere to the shrink guidelines. Unload trucks (Dairy, Frozen, Grocery, etc.). Remove merchandise from pallets and sort into groups according to store area. Load merchandise onto carts and place on designated shelves or sales floor for display. Read codes on shelves and merchandise labels. Attach price labels to each item manually. Remove merchandise from the back room for stocking on sales floor shelves and build special sales displays. Operate a manual pallet-jack, powered pallet stacker or straddle stacker (if over 18 years of age). Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications Previous comparable experience.
