This work from home position requires that you live and will perform the duties of the position within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital (Our hospitals are located in the following states: FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA).

The Associate Counsel works directly with Parallon Business Owners and Legal Team Members.

What you will do in this role:

• Legal research and analysis of regulations, documents and policies
• Review and negotiate effective resolution of assigned matters
• Assist in development of policies and guidance
• Serve as subject matter expert for designated area of responsibility
• Identifying legal risks and developing proactive recommendations
• Work with legal and business team members to support accurate and timely documentation of status on assigned matters
• Other responsibilities and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor required
• Minimum 5 years legal experience (experience in healthcare preferred).
• License to practice law in good standing
