Req ID: RQ226403 Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret SCI + Polygraph Public Trust/Other Required: None Job Family: Security Operations Skills: Construction,Ensure Compliance,Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Experience: 1 + years of related experience US Citizenship Required: Yes Job Description: Construction Surveillance Technician The Construction Surveillance Technician’s primary function is to provide day to day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program (SAP) construction efforts. Performance shall include: Assesses, identifies and communications recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems. Identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks. Drafts security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders. Manages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns, trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site lead. Follow and enforce customers’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative Shall conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces. Will photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets. Required Experience: 1 – 2 years related experience Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience. Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience. Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years. Education: Bachelors Degree. In lieu of degree, must have 4 additional years of experience in addition to the 1-2 years experience listed below. Desired Experience: Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements) Other Requirements: Complete additional safety training and/or certification as required by local site (i.e., OSHA 10 Construction Safety, OSHA Fall Protection and OSHA Confined Space) within the first 30 days of hire. Must obtain CDSE STEPP ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP course completion within the first 30 days of hire. Security Clearance: Must have a TS/SCI Clearance at the time of application Must be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph. #AirforceSAPOpportunities The likely salary range for this position is $91,375 - $123,625. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
