Pilot Plant Operator

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Pilot Plant Operator for a contract position with a Pharmaceutical Company located in Ridgefield, CT. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves supporting pilot plant campaigns by working with technicians and campaign managers to address process and equipment-related challenges. The ideal candidate will become proficient in equipment operation, batch record entries, and calculations, while adhering to all safety and GMP procedures. Responsibilities: Follow the lead of a senior technician in pilot plant campaigns Work with plant technicians and campaign managers to address process and equipment related challenges Assist the lead technician in communicating batch status with chemists and analytical teams Complete all required training before the due date Participate in group activities and meetings Become proficient in equipment operation, batch record entries, and calculations Follow all procedures, including the proper use of defined PPE Report all incidents, such as spills, exposures, or injuries, to management Conduct all operations and activities with safety as the primary goal Requirements: High School Graduate or Associate Degree Experience working with established GMP procedures and bulk manufacturing Technical knowledge of manufacturing systems, methods, and procedures Possess effective troubleshooting skills with equipment and/or processes Pay range: up to $23.57 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
