Compliance Analyst

Compliance AnalystLocation: Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CADuration: Long term contractSkills: Information management & Security, Unix Shell scripting, Networking & communication protocols, Python.Responsibilities:Analyze the effectiveness of firewall rules, router configurations and host based firewalls.Summarize test results at the conclusion of testing, communicate control deficiencies and provide recommendations for remediation.Manage the lifecycle of user authentication: Review, approve and provision tokens for user authentication.Enable locked user accounts. Perform periodic audits of users and groups in the authentication system.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Management of Information Systems, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, routers, firewalls, IP addressing and ACL administration.Minimum three (3) years' work experience, preferably in one or more of these areas; internet security, auditing, control assessment, PCI DSS, IS/IT auditing, IS/IT policy development, risk assessments or federal regulatory compliance for information protection.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail.Results oriented: ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization and within other geographies in order to overcome obstacles and accomplish all necessary tasks.Strong organizational and time management skills.
