Resident Program Assistant

Purpose Work closely with Director of Resident Program Operations to assist in confirming coverage limits and status of policies supplied by tenants. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor client files for timeliness, open items, accounting and audit records, and other actions as necessary. Respond to client and carrier requests/questions within ability/knowledge timely. Review documents such as policies, changes, endorsement and audits for accuracy. Maintain appropriate level of confidentiality. Follow company policies and procedures. Other duties as determined by client and brokers needs. Interpersonal skills - the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things. Oral communication - the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates group presentation skills. Written communication - the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information. Problem solving - the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality. Quality control - the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitorsown work to ensure quality. Adaptability - the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Qualifications Current enrollment in Business program including, but not limited to Risk Management, Finance, Accounting and Marketing. Superior communications skills (written and verbal).
