Exciting Opportunity for RN: Med/Surg at Frye Regional Medical Center - Location: Hickory, NC - Shift: 7P - 7A - Orientation Dates: - September 14th - September 28th - October 12th - October 26th - November 9th - November 16th - December 7th - Unit Information: - 18 medical surgical beds - Patient Ratios: 1:6 - Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, Kangaroo feeding pumps, PCA pumps - EHR: Cerner - Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric - Position Highlights: - Join a dynamic team in a 355-bed facility, home to specialized centers for brain, cancer, heart, lung, orthopedics, and more! - Ensure high-quality patient care in a busy, supportive environment. - Float to surgical, neuro, and intermediate as needed, handling Med/Surg level patients. - Requirements: - Must have Cerner experience and IV competency. - Active NC or compact nursing license and Basic Life Support certification. - A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required. - Ideal Candidate: - Strong team players with a passion for patient advocacy. - Ability to thrive in a busy environment with exceptional multitasking skills. - Preferred: Experience in a charge role and familiarity with common diagnoses like COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, and wound care. - Dress Code: - Scrubs: Any color - Note: Please adhere to any unacceptable attire guidelines.
