About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - CVOR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Prior CVOR experience of 1 year or greater RN Circulating experience Description: Travel RN position in the CVOR unit. The shift is from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The unit has a total of 3 operating rooms with a patient ratio of 1:1. Staff includes RNs and Surgical Techs. Type of equipment and documentation system used is Meditech. The nurse is expected to manage four 10-hour shifts with call responsibilities. Floating policy is not applicable. Advanced skills needed for performing CABG, TAVR, and VATS procedures. Facility provides necessary uniforms for staff. The unit has a history of being recognized for excellence in care.
