Role Overview A registered nurse responsible for providing independent routine and complex patient care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of each situation. The nurse assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care utilizing the nursing process, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor treatment effects, document patient information, and educate patients and families. The nurse delegates tasks appropriately to care providers to manage clinical situations effectively. Qualifications & Skills A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, with at least 1 year of related nursing experience; new graduates may be considered. Current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required. All new hires must complete orientation and competency validations. Experience in critical care settings and knowledge of the nursing standards are advantageous. Additional Requirements Certifications must be obtained within designated timeframes, with grace periods based on experience.
