CRESTVIEW HOME, located in Bethany, Missouri is currently seeking a cook to join our team.

Cook Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals, desserts, and snacks according to the posted menu schedule, ensuring all special diets and dietary concerns are respected

• Serve meals that are both palatable and visually appealing

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, including washing pots and pans as needed

• Familiarize yourself with health code requirements for food and beverage storage and hot/cold holding temperatures, and maintain accurate documentation

• Estimate and prepare food supplies to meet serving portions

• Ensure a safe, clean, and respectable work environment

• Participate in ongoing educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Cook Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be interested in geriatrics, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Knowledgeable about dietary techniques and procedures

• Able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and/or 50 pounds occasionally
